My figure drawing tutorials have become in a short period of time, my most popular deviations.
On the first one, I came up with the hand idea simply because I wasn't satisfied with the 8-head method that you see in almost every book. It seems too rigid, not organic enough. Body proportions don't really follow perfectly equal divisions.
The male version was a natural extension of the first and then I was asked for a simple way to scale the figure, so you don't always end up with the same size character.
If anybody has tried any of these, I would love to see what you've produced! Please post a link here or in the tutorial deviation pages. It doesn't matter if it is a beginner or advanced drawing or if you copied the model I drew. I don't mind at all. That's what it's there for.
Thank you all for all the pageviews and faves!
